Dan is the first to admit that he is no spring chicken, but with life comes experience, and with experience comes a wealth of knowledge - some gained through life's cruel lessons and the rest shoe-horned into his brain by educational professionals.

During this time I developed a research-led approach to making art with found and recycled materials. My practice explored creativity as a form of personal. healing, combining sculpture, storytelling, and community engagement to challenge perceptions of waste and promote sustainable, inclusive creativity.

During this time I learnt many new creative skills and techniques. My final major project was the creation of a large kinetic sculpture (see my portfolio). I was also awarded a College Outstanding Learners Success (COLS) Award for my achievements.
